Our commitment

Far beyond our day-to-day work, we are committed to what is close to our hearts. For the training and further education of technical and skilled tradespeople. For the environment, nature and the quality of our work.

VISION 250 LIFE

Around 250,000 people have accidents at work in Switzerland every year. Of these, 181'500 people are insured with Suva. It affects one in five construction workers, one in four scaffolders and one in three forestry workers. "Vision 250 Lives" is Suva's response to this high number of serious accidents at work. The aim is to prevent 250 fatal occupational accidents and just as many cases of severe disability over the next ten years.

The SAFETY CHARTER

More safety in the workplace is the aim of the Safety Charter. It was launched by Suva in collaboration with employers' associations, planners and trade unions. STOP in case of danger, eliminate danger, continue working. The signatories to the charter are committed to ensuring that safety rules are observed in the workplace. Work must not be life-threatening. By the way, the Construction Charter is available in 9 languages.

IMPORTANT RULES

The "Vital Rules" are at the heart of "Vision 250 Life". These are developed specifically for all industries and activities with high risks. Zero tolerance applies to compliance with these rules. This means that if there is a risk to life and health, it is STOP, stop work and eliminate the dangerous situation.

TRAINING

People have been working with stone since time immemorial. The professions of stonemason, stonemason and stone sculptor have a long history. As an SME, we are interested in specialized professionals. That's why we invest a lot in training our apprentices in the professions of stonemason (EFZ 4 years) and stonemason (EFZ 3 years).

In cooperation with schools and associations, we want to promote the profession of "stone worker".

SN EN ISO 9001

In 1998, we introduced a quality management system in our company based on the SN EN ISO 9001 standard. The basic idea was to incorporate the existing quality awareness into a system and to automate it. Over the years, this has been adapted to the new standards and continuously expanded.

In particular, health protection and occupational safety were integrated, as well as material testing, CE declarations and declarations of performance for our products in accordance with EN standards.
