We work with modern stone processing technology, intelligent machines and fully automated CNC systems. This allows us to efficiently process natural stone in our stone carving workshop. At the same time, we increase the scope for the production of complex workpieces or the production of series samples.

The latest technology is available for transportation, cutting and surface processing. We use heavy construction machinery, large stone saws, precise CNC machines and our new 5-axis milling machine, which is designed for the automated production of complex workpieces or wells.

Automated stone processing on 3D machines now enables the serial production of freely designable stone surfaces. State-of-the-art stone processing opens up new scope for design. Bärlocher surfaces such as Onde (waves), Pirelli (dots) and Rigato (stripes) are examples that show that anything is possible.

Traditional stonemasonry
Crafting stone is and remains an important part of our work. For example, we sharpen seat blocks, carve window sills or crown plinth slabs. It takes a lot of practice and skill to shape sandstone true to style and according to your own ideas. Bärloch stonemasons are known for their well-trained talents. The training of apprentices has always been close to our hearts. We are committed to school education and further training.

Bärlocher manufactures individual sandstone products. From historical family coats of arms and chess pieces to wine coolers made of Rorschach sandstone. We support stone sculptors who purchase their stones from us in our stone carving workshop in the realization of their artistic natural stone projects as required.
